Combining flexible induction cooking with the distinctive styling of the Empire collection, the Empire KCT 9196 IEm offers impressive performance across five QuickHeat cooking zones. Two flexible FREE ZONE areas accommodate larger cookware and griddle plates, while the expansive 28cm central zone is ideal for generously sized pans. Its Anthracite Grey Matt Moiré glass is protected by Scratch-Guard technology and complemented by solid bronze detailing, creating a beautifully durable centrepiece for the kitchen.

Description

The Kaiser KCT 9196 IEm is an extra-wide 90cm induction hob combining advanced cooking technology with the classical character of the Empire collection. Its Anthracite Grey Matt Moiré glass-ceramic surface is finished with solid bronze decorative detailing, giving the appliance a distinctive and luxurious appearance.

Scratch-Guard technology provides the glass surface with enhanced protection against the scratches and signs of wear associated with everyday cooking and cleaning. Its smooth, flat finish is also easy to maintain, helping the hob retain its elegant appearance over time.

Five QuickHeat induction zones provide fast, responsive and energy-efficient heating. The large 28cm central zone offers up to 3kW of boosted power and comfortably accommodates larger pots and pans.

Four rectangular zones can be used separately or combined into two flexible FREE ZONE areas. Each flexible area creates a generous 38 × 19cm cooking surface, making it easier to use oversized cookware, roasting dishes or the optional Kaiser griddle plate.

Every cooking zone features a Power booster for faster heating when required. This temporarily increases the selected zone’s output, helping bring water to the boil quickly or heat cookware without unnecessary delay.

The Electronic Intelligent System is operated using full-touch controls and a convenient Power Slide interface. Heat levels can be adjusted with a simple movement across the slider, while the LED display clearly presents the selected settings and remaining cooking time.

Individual timers provide precise control over each cooking zone. Further safety features include a child lock, automatic Safety Guard shut-off and residual heat indicators that remain illuminated while the surface is still hot.
