The highest quality

Taking centre stage in your kitchen, the hob sits above an integrated oven or countertop, providing a versatile cooking surface for pots, pans, woks and more. Simplistic at a first glance, but look closer and you will see our range of hobs offer excellent ease-of-use features to make day-to-day cooking a joy rather than a chore.

Our range of hobs focuses on helping you to create luxurious kitchens, without any compromise on performance. You have several choices when it comes to a new hob for your kitchen. There’s the standard gas burner hob, the stylish electric ceramic hobs, or the more modern induction hobs.

Not just black

Here at Kaiser, we pride ourselves on offering a selection of appliances, uniquely designed in stunning colours that wont be found anywhere else. Our most popular signature range Empire, in stunning Bordeaux Red.

Or a more modern hob, designed with a classical ivory finish and elegant gold trim. All this and more, only found at Kaier. We try to cater to all kitchens and styles, which makes us confident we have the dream appliances just for you.

Cast Iron Griddles

One rigid and one flat. The rigid side allows you to create a seared finish for your food. Producing markings identical to the mouth-watering finish you get when BBQing, while also conveniently letting excess fat run away into the griddles channels.

The other section is perfectly flat, making it excellent for breakfasts such as eggs and pancakes. Whichever side you use, this cast iron griddle will last you for years to come, helping you create tasty meals again and again.

Intelligent Extraction with AUTO-SYNC

Keep your attention on the cooking with AUTO-SYNC technology, which automatically adjusts extraction power to match the hob’s cooking intensity. Manual control is also available whenever you prefer to choose the airflow yourself.

Positioned centrally within the hob, the integrated extractor draws cooking vapours towards the extraction inlet, helping keep the surrounding kitchen fresh.

Extraction performance and installation options vary by model:

  • Empire KCT 9362 IEm: up to 1250 m³/h in external extraction mode, or 1000 m³/h in recirculation mode with activated carbon filters.

  • Grand Chef KCT 9102 FI: up to 600 m³/h in recirculation mode, with nine extractor fan speeds.

Check the individual product specifications to choose the extraction setup that suits your kitchen.

Downdraft Hob FAQs

What is a downdraft induction hob?
A downdraft induction hob combines an induction cooking surface with an integrated extractor. It draws cooking steam and vapours towards an inlet within the hob, rather than using a separate hood above it.

Do I need a separate cooker hood?
The integrated extractor performs the role of a conventional cooker hood, so a separate overhead hood is not required when the appliance is correctly installed.

Are downdraft hobs suitable for kitchen islands?
Yes. Their integrated extraction makes them particularly useful for islands, helping keep the space above the cooking area open. Your kitchen design must allow sufficient room below the worktop for the appliance and its extraction components.

Do downdraft hobs need to vent outside?
This depends on the model and installation configuration. The Empire KCT 9362 IEm supports external extraction and recirculation, while the Grand Chef KCT 9102 FI offers the recirculation performance detailed above. Check the product’s installation requirements and any necessary filter or ducting accessories before ordering.

Do I need special pans?
Yes. Induction cooking requires cookware with a magnetic base. Look for pans labelled as induction compatible.

Can I fit an oven underneath a downdraft hob?
This depends on the space required by the hob, extractor and ducting. Check the installation manual and confirm the proposed layout with your kitchen fitter before planning an oven directly underneath.

Are downdraft hobs easy to clean?
The smooth glass-ceramic cooking surfaces are easy to wipe down once cool. Grease filters require regular cleaning, and any recirculation filters should be maintained or replaced according to the model’s instructions.
