The Grand Chef EA 548 is a sleek, built-in ceiling hood designed exclusively for recirculation use. With its flush-fit Black and Black Glass finish, it blends seamlessly into your upper cabinet for a clean, modern look. Despite its discreet appearance, this hood delivers powerful performance with five speeds and a dedicated Power function to clear steam and odours quickly.

Operation is simple with Electronic FullTouch and Logic Control. The illuminated soft-touch panel provides clear feedback while adjusting speed or lighting, making everyday use straightforward. With an A+ energy rating, the EA 548 combines efficiency with performance, while a low-consumption LED lamp keeps your cooking space brightly lit.

For easy maintenance, the durable metal grease filter can be cleaned in the dishwasher, ensuring long-lasting performance. An optional activated carbon filter is also available, capturing smoke and neutralising odours to keep your kitchen environment fresh.

This cooker hood is designed to be mounted flush inside kitchen cabinetry or other built-in units. It is not suitable for installation on chimney breasts or similar structures with no access from the top.

Electronic Logic Control
The EA 548 features a modern Logic Control system with illuminated soft-touch buttons, allowing you to set the fan speed and lighting with ease. The controls are intuitive and designed for reliable, long-term operation.

Power Function
When steam or odours build up quickly, the Power function activates maximum airflow for a limited time. After 5–10 minutes, the hood automatically reverts to your chosen setting, ensuring efficient extraction without unnecessary energy use.

Recirculation Mode
Designed for homes without external ducting, this hood runs in recirculation mode only. Air is drawn through the filters, purified, and released back into the room, keeping your kitchen free from smoke, grease, and smells.

Metal Grease Filter
The EA 548 uses a stainless steel and aluminium grease filter that captures grease particles before they spread. The filter is durable and dishwasher-safe, making cleaning straightforward and hassle-free.

Activated Carbon Filter (Optional)
For even better odour control, the hood can be fitted with an activated carbon filter. The chemically treated carbon absorbs smoke and lingering smells, helping to maintain a fresh environment even after heavy cooking.

Efficient LED Lighting
The built-in LED lamp delivers bright, clear lighting over your hob while using minimal energy. It enhances visibility during cooking and adds to the overall efficiency of the hood.
